The Visual Family Hub

I’m building fambul because I was living the burnout.

Hey, I'm Tony. As a product manager in Boston's tech scene and a parent of two, my home life was more chaotic than my most complex project roadmaps.

I’m used to Jira and Wrike to manage multi-million dollar products at work, but at home, my wife and I were running on sticky notes, endless texts, and exhaustion.

I realized the problem wasn't us, it was our tools. Nothing was designed to manage logistics and strengthen our partnership.

So I built what we needed. fambul is built on a foundation of product management and the real-life experience of parenting. It's the tool I wish I'd had a few years ago.

Dad. Builder. Burnout extinguisher.

fambul (FAM-bool) - from the Krio word for family, because family is universal.

 FAQs

  • It means you're more than just a user; you're a partner. As one of our first 100 families, your feedback will directly shape the features and future of Fambul. You'll have a direct line to our founder and the development team to share your ideas and help us build the best possible tool to reduce family burnout.

  • It is absolutely free, and there is no catch. As our way of saying a huge thank you for helping us build fambul, all 100 of our Founding Families will receive a lifetime subscription to the fambul Premium plan. This includes all current premium features and any future ones we release. All we ask for in return is your regular usage and honest feedback during the beta period.

  • We're designing this to fit into your already busy life. We simply ask that you use the app with your family as you normally would and be willing to provide feedback. This might be through occasional short surveys (5 minutes) or a voluntary 15-minute feedback call once or twice during the program. There are no rigid time requirements.

  • As a Founding Family, you'll have a dedicated channel to report any issues, and you'll be helping us find and fix them before anyone else.

  • Shared calendars are great for one thing: scheduling events. But they do nothing to solve the real problems of mental load, invisible labor, and communication breakdowns. fambul is different because it’s built for the entire lifecycle of family work:

    • Visibility: We don't just show an event; we show who is responsible for every task associated with it.

    • Accountability: Clear ownership means things no longer fall through the cracks.

    • Appreciation: Is a feature no calendar has. It’s a dedicated space to acknowledge the effort that goes into running a household, which fundamentally improves family dynamics. In short, calendars track appointments. Our hope is that fambul strengthens your team.

  • Absolutely. In fact, fambul can be a game-changer for parents who are the primary "CEO" of their household. It helps you:

    • Centralize Your Village: Seamlessly coordinate with grandparents, babysitters, friends, and co-parents in one place.

    • Ensure Flawless Handoffs: Use our "Caregiver" to share critical info without sharing your entire life.

    • Strengthen Co-Parenting: Create a neutral, logistics-focused zone to reduce conflict-prone texts and keep everyone on the same page about the kids' lives.

  • This is a common and valid concern, and we designed fambul with it in mind. The interface is simple and inviting, not complex or demanding. The best approach is to frame it as a low-commitment experiment: "Let's just try this free app for a couple of weeks." That is why we built in Appreciation. We hope that when they receive their first "recognition" for a task they completed, they will see the value immediately. It’s designed to feel good, not like another chore.

  • Yes. This is our highest priority. Your family's trust is everything. We use industry-standard encryption for all data, both in transit and at rest. We are building fambul to be a safe, private sanctuary for your family's information.

  • Never. We will never sell your personal, identifiable data to advertisers or third parties. Our business model is straightforward: we provide a valuable service that families will hopefully choose to pay for. Our users are our customers, not our product.

  • The fambul beta will be available as a web application, allowing you to use fambul on your smartphone, tablet, and computer with a web browser.

  • As a member of our Founding Families program, you'll have a dedicated email address that goes directly to me, Tony. I will personally answer and promise to provide prompt, personal support.
