Everything in the account
Lists, tasks, events, notes, photos and everyone you invited. Maple says there's no way to recover any of it afterward.
Maple closes on December 31, 2026 and deletes everything in the account, including its links to the school and team calendars it was syncing. Here's how to save what matters, get your calendars back, and set up the week somewhere new.
Maple families are welcome: the whole Fambul platform is free for every family, always.
Maple closes. The account and everything in it are deleted.
92 days left to move
Maple's notice is short. Here's what it means for your family's week.
Lists, tasks, events, notes, photos and everyone you invited. Maple says there's no way to recover any of it afterward.
The links to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and TeamSnap go too. School and team schedules stop flowing in, right as January starts.
The pickups you split with your partner and the afternoons the sitter covered. You'll set that up again wherever you land.
Chore rotations, packing lists, and the coach's number you never saved to your phone.
Nobody bought the app, so there's no migration button and no default place your data goes. Each family moves itself.
Three steps. The first two work whichever app you choose. Sit down at a laptop while Maple still runs, and try to finish before the holidays fill up December.
Your Google, Apple and Outlook calendars aren't going anywhere. What disappears is Maple's link to them. Subscribe to each school or team feed directly:
Once a feed comes straight from the school or the league, it no longer depends on any app staying open.
A shared calendar shows who's busy. Fambul is built for the part of Maple that took things off your plate.
Pick who and the hours. The tasks in that window go with it, along with your note. They accept, decline or ask a question first.
A sitter or au pair gets that window's tasks and the family info you choose to share. When the window ends, so does the access.
A thank-you button on finished tasks, and an optional Sunday recap of what everyone covered.
Export everything from Settings whenever you like. After this year, you'll want that.
Pick the app that matches how you actually used Maple.
Fambul is a goodwill platform built to help families stay connected. The whole platform is free, now and after beta. There is no trial, subscription or paid tier.
Start your family boardDecember 31, 2026. Accounts and data stay accessible until then. After that the account is closed, and Maple says all data is deleted with no way to recover it.
Both, in that order. Wander, a travel company, acquired Maple's team in July 2026 to work on its WanderOS platform. The deal covered the people rather than the app, so the app is winding down on its own.
No. There is no migration button and no default destination. Whatever you want to keep, you take out yourself before December 31.
Maple's notice asks users to export their data but doesn't say how. Check Settings first. If there's no export, screenshot the lists you'd miss and save any photos you uploaded.
The connections to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and TeamSnap are deleted with the account. Your calendars themselves are fine. Subscribe to each school or team feed at its source so the schedules keep coming.
Annual plans won't renew. Monthly plans stay active until December 31, 2026. Ask Maple directly about anything you've already paid for.
Screenshot them first, which saves the information whichever app you pick. Fambul can read a list from a photo and shows you every item it found. Nothing is added to your board until you tick it.
Yes. Paste the subscription link from ParentSquare, TeamSnap or another calendar feed, and those events appear on your family board and stay up to date. Fambul doesn't write tasks back to Google or Apple Calendar yet.
Nothing. The whole Fambul platform is free for every family, always, including parents, caregivers and grandparents. There is no trial, subscription or paid tier.
